Jackson National Life Insurance is expected to announce its long-awaited move to Cool Springs tomorrow.
Officials with the state, Williamson County and city of Franklin plan to make the corporate recruitment announcement at 10 a.m. tomorrow at One Greenway Center, 300 Innovation Drive, Franklin, according to a county news release, which did not name the company involved.
Matt Largen, director of the county’s office of economic development, declined to disclose further details other than to say that the announcement will involve a “significant” amount of business space.
The Michigan-based insurance and retirement planning company declined to discuss its plans.
But a source close to the deal told the Business Journal that the company is finalizing the details of its move today.
Jackson National Life Insurance Company reported in March that is had record sales and deposits of $15.2 billion in 2009 and a net income of $670 million, using IFRS accounting procedures required by the European Union. Jackson is a subsidiary of United Kingdom’s Prudential PLC.
